PT XL Axiata Tbk. ('XL') was established on 8 October 1989, under the name PT Grahametropolitan Lestari. Its main business was in trading and general services.

Six years later, XL took an important step by setting up a partnership with Rajawali Group -a shareholder of PT Grahametropolitan Lestari - and three foreign investors
(NYNEX, AIF and Mitsui). Its name was changed to PT Excelcomindo Pratama, with the provisioning of basic telephony services as its core business.


XL commenced commercial operations in 1996, primarily covering Jakarta, Bandung and Surabaya areas. This made XL the first private company in Indonesia to provide
cellular mobile telephony services.

XL is now leading the industry as a cellular telecommunications provider with extensive coverage throughout Indonesia. It provides services for retail customers
and offers business solutions for corporate customers, including voice, data and other value-added mobile telecommunications services. XL operates its network with
GSM 900/DCS 1800 and IMT-2000/3G technologies. XL also holds a Closed Regular Network License, Internet Service Provider (ISP) License, Voice over Internet
Protocol (VoIP) License, and Internet Interconnection Services License (NAP).


Strategic Vendor Partnership, a new strategic unit under Strategic Partnership and Procurement Division (formerly Procurement and Logistic), is developed mainly to drive alignment between XL and strategic partners/major vendors in order to build, maintain, and enhance stronger and more beneficial relationships; and also to constantly create value out of the partnership.

Currently, we are fulfilling the resource who will act as partner to top level management in managing strategic partnership.

Analyst - Corporate Culture

Responsibilities:

  • Translate and adopt the Corporate Culture to be embedded into real and applicable initiatives.
  • Develop and coordinate the implementation of Corporate Culture event/process.
  • Monitoring the implementation of Corporate Culture event/process and highlighting issues identified.
  • Develop and implement operational plan for employee communication activities.
  • Implement the activities for managing employee communication problem.
  • Monitor responses to Employee Communication program.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in any major, preferably whom possess master degree in human resource management
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in handling Corporate Culture (experience in telecommunication industry will be an advantage)
  • Good project management skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent facilitation skills
  • Good pro-activity & initiative


Vacancy for Mobile Data Services Sales Manager
(Jakarta Raya)
Responsibilities:

  • Operating Sales of Mobile Data Services (BlackBerry, Broadband, Mobile Internet) activities to achieve revenue target
  • Operating Sales of Mobile Data Services (BlackBerry, Broadband, Mobile Internet) activities to ensure target on track
  • Operating region partner activities to ensure defined target
  • Developing sales plan activities and aligned with marketing activities to assure target achievement
  • Planning, monitoring and tight control budget & commission spending
  • Building Mobile Data Services ecosystem within the region/area and partnership


Requirements:

  • S1 Degree majoring in Economy or Business
  • Sales skill (in telecommunication product or FMCG)
  • Fluent in English
  • Knowledgeable in telecommunication industry is a strong plus
  • Strong Business analyzing and presentation skill
  • Strong interpersonal skills, relationship management abilities, and team building
  • Total work experience minimal 7 years and 4-5 years in sales, preferably in telecommunication / handset / FMCG industry


Manager Sales Mobile Advertising (Code: MSMA)
(Jakarta Raya)
Responsibilities:

  • Evangelise the local advertising industry to use mobile channel as part of their advertising strategy
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations to new and existing corporate clients, brands in order to sell mobile advertising products
  • Come up with marketing plans for potential advertisers to advertise their products with XL
  • Maintain assigned account bases while developing new accounts.
  • Search and contact potential clients in order to offer advertising services.
  • Provide clients with estimates of the costs of advertising products or services.
  • Prepare promotional plans, sales literature, media kits, and sales contracts.


Requirements:

  • 5+ years of digital media advertising sales experience in advertising agencies
  • Strong communication skills to present to major advertising agencies and other major advertisers
  • Strong relationships with agencies and advertising clients that allow the presentation of special events, integrated advertising opportunities and standard advertising sales opportunities
  • An entrepreneurial and creative approach to business
  • The ability to structure deals and develop strong client relationships
  • Knowledgeable in telecommunication technology are strong plus

Responsibilities:

  • Define Mobile Ads product strategy and roadmap
  • Manage end-to-end Mobile Ads product life cycle
  • Specify marketing requirements for current and future Mobile Ads channels by conducting market research.
  • Drive mobile advertising requirements across project team with personnel from Development/Engineering, Sales, Finance, Marketing Communications through diligent follow up.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market plan, working with all related departments to execute.
  • Work with external third parties to assess partnerships opportunities for the Mobile Ads product.


Requirements:

  • 3+ years of marketing or product management experience.
  • Knowledgeable in telecommunication technology, finance and marketing communication are strong plus
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor degree
  • Strong interpersonal skills, relationship management abilities and team building

Specialist VAS Product (Code: SVP)

Responsibilities:

  • Define the VAS product strategy and roadmap
  • Managing end-to-end VAS product life cycle
  • Specifying market requirements for current and future VAS products by conducting market research.
  • Driving a solution set across development teams (primarily Development/Engineering, and Marketing Communications) through market requirements and positioning.
  • Developing and implementing a go-to-market plan, working with all related departments to execute.
  • Work with external third parties to assess partnerships opportunities for the VAS product.


Requirements:

  • 5+ years of marketing or product management experience.
